Anyone have any information on the International trying to get a national contract?? Supposed to be meetings in Chicago???

Are you mistaking the National Dairy Agreement with an agreement with Dean Foods? National Dairy Agreement involves more companies then just Dean Foods. Not all Dean Foods Teamsters (or Teamsters in the dairy industry who work for other employers) are a part of the National Dairy Agreement and plants that are a part of it also have their own local addendums that cover things like pay, benefits, vacation, etc. National Dairy Agreement covers bigger pictures things like how grievances are supposed to be handled. It's probably been decades since anything significant has been changed in the National Dairy Agreement.
Interesting if true. Any negotiations on Dean Foods part should be from a position of strength and to make DFA happy. So if true, Dean Foods will probably screw it up and agree to some things that will scare DFA away.
