The Sears Hometown store in Lawrenceburg TN is selling off everything and will close its doors in April. They said their commissions rates were cut and that they couldn’t get things to sell. They kept being told new stuff was “coming soon,” but nothing ever arrived. Sad. That was my last Sears within 3 hours.

Eddie only bought Hometown to close it down without all the lawsuits. In July, 1/3 of the Hometown stores contracts come due. Good bye mom and pop complainers.
It is very sad especially for the mom and pop owners. They were fed a line and tons of promises that I knew would never happen. Owners take heed, spread the word they don't give a hoot about you!!!
It is very sad for the small business owners. My friend was in the same situation.
Poking around the internet, I see several others in the same boat.
