Q&A kinda thread - what's happening next?

Collins Aerospace is well-positioned to move most if not all commercial work overseas (out of the US) within the next year and focus US workers almost entirely on Military/Government work through Raytheon. If this is news to you and you worked at Collins Aerospace over the last few years 2018-2020, you must have been working in a vacuum (which is possible to do at this company). Most engineering employees were regularly handing work off to overseas contractors the last 5 years. With the pandemic now in full force and the commercial aircraft business in the toilet, the leaders have just moved up the overseas transfer date from a few years to asap. Managers will be kept around to train new workers overseas and then senior leadership will turn the lights off here in the US.
