Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Think of his appointment as reparations.

Look at Marvin's backstory (I remember when he was first introduced to us)...He came from Tennessee I think and his family or relatives were sharecroppers and his immediate family were gospel singers (maybe singing in the church counts?) Someone should look at JC Penney before and after Marvin because that of course was his last stop before Lowe's. On the surface, some stuff seems to make sense. Getting rid of unproductive inventory a/k/a clearance/non-stock items, etc.

Marvin & co are focused on minutia. District managers walk us 3x a week and look at dust, dumb signs, and stuff that customers dont even care about. All while customer service is horrible, proven by countless reviews and surveys that corporate hides from everyone.

Our pro customers cannot get a delivery, yet corp forces us to have them sign up for the Loyalty program which they dont want, and laugh at. All they want is someone to answer the phone or help them when they arrive (short-staffed, and tasked away from desk) and reliable delivery (never happens).

Focus on those 2 things dipchits at corporate! Get your heads out of each others arses!

Great job Marv and Litte Joe

When I started with Lowe's just after the turn of the century, we were the solid Number One home improvement chain. The employee motto was Power of Pride. The company slogan was Improving Home Improvement.

Niblock and Damron led us down hill to the Number Two Spot.

Marvin and the Marvettes are not the crew to reverse that.

But a rich loser, nonetheless.

So who are the real losers? The customers and employees.

Is there anyone outside of Marvin's inner circle C-Suite butt kissers that think he is the right man for the job?

No one at my store has any faith in him anymore.
