That’s going to be a seriously bloody merger. All the relationships, politics, power from MMI & RMT. It’s like a season of Game of Thrones!
When the merger was officially announced, we were told basically to Keep Calm and Keep Working (gotta make the numbers). When asked about layoffs we were told "not right away....maybe in 90 days". So, late April, early May.
Keeping in mind that this is the company that did a layoff on April 1 many years ago.
I was laid off in Jan 7th, but I still have friends in the company I talk to, RMT M&A and MMI are being merged, as a result there will be a lot of people on both sides doing the same job which means there will be a lot of cuts, so they expect the next layoff to happen anytime now.
