With only 126 total full line sears and Kmart stores left when will corporate have more layoffs?
Stores are closing fast yet they still hang onto all the corporate positions—why??

They'll come in time, just sit back and watch the continued slow downfall of what once was the top 2 retailers in the world.
HE had 6000 people 15 years ago. By many counts, it sounds like HE is down to several hundred. I guess that shows that HE "Corporate" has not been decimated like the posts state. Why people think there are still thousands at HE is beyond me. 95% of stores are gone. 95% of store employees are gone. 95% of HE employees are gone. 100% of growth is gone. 100% of there being any future with this company is gone. Stop searching for something to blame on anyone other than Lampert. HE chose to not spend on stores; not spend on advertising; not define what "transformation" is for 10+ years. Thinking that anyone else had the power to overrule him and start spending money where it should have been spent is delusional. Anyone who would have done that would be gone. And perhaps at least one person tried that. Look at all the turnover in upper ranks over the past 15 years. They didn't leave because it was fashionable.

Sears - 89 stores total, including 6 in Puerto Rico, and 7 small-format stores (Home & Life, Appliances, Appliacnes & Mattresses): https://www.thelayoff.com/t/13ukxQev
Kmart: 44 stores total, 33 in US states and 11 in island territories: https://www.thelayoff.com/t/13ocJ1kg
Not included in these lists: Sears Hometown, Sears Outlet (soon to lose the Sears branding entirely), stand-along Sears Auto Centers, Parts Direct locations, Service Center drop-off locations, etc.
Is there a list of the stores that are open?
bought 2 levi's shirts on the website because they were cheap. purchased 2 different colored shirts and they sent me 2 of the same color. hurry up and close down already. it's obvious no one cares if they lose their jobs. smh.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted, I think this is a valid question. if all of your stores are closing, then you won't need all the corporate people to support the stores.
