My store got 115 hours for 15 softlines associates including leads. This means some days we will have just one person on the floor to do web orders, ring people up, rad the floor, open credit, do go backs, fittingrooms, and stock, if any.
Perfect time for shoplifters to come and steal Levi's, which is the only valuable brand left.

Sounds tiring you should take a nap in the fitting room
Even with all those hundreds of millions borrowed it's like this. Eddie really is broke, huh.
Soon enough it'll be closed like all the others, so soon enough ZERO workers inside the entire building!
if there are no customers there is plenty of time to do the other tasks and goof off.
It may be cheaper to get the Levis stolen than paying a salary to prevent it's theft. I'm sure the stats were run and this is part of cost optimization. They could also start an honor system for checking out to save the salary of the person ringing.
Ah, there are no customers
Our store has drastically cut hours but is still interviewing and hiring people. It makes no sense.
