February 2020- 500 jobs cut, savings $85 Million annual
August 2017- 880 jobs cut, savings reported at $17 Million annual
In 2017, the corporate cut should have happened leaving more resources in the field.
Corporates been bloated for years . Cronies and yes people got sweet positions . The HR department spent their time corralling employees into groups and pounding home an anti union sentiment.
Same in the field. They just kept creating positions and layers of more positions. This created the largest coffee clutch in the history of retail. The Regional/District staffs added confusion and misdirection to the stores rather than guidance and support.
Looks like cronyism is coming to an end but maybe too late. I’m sure everybody sitting at home waiting for their severance checks they are receiving for signing away their rights, is wishing they never sat in that room and chanted, “No Unions, no way!!”. That’s when they told you that there was nothing a union could do that they didn’t provide for you.
Would you like to reconsider that?
