They preach they care about you. The reality is you are being lied to. They care less about you, your family and your financial well being. Heads up at all times. Don't be quick to buy into their lies and deceit.

I tell new hires not to drink the koolaid and get out ASAP.
Since most of SF leadership and employees are related or married to each other. The “family” rhetoric and keeping the money in the family things must fit.
The whole "family" thing is such a laugh. It sounds good, but State Farm definitely doesn't walk the talk. I'm so sick of them using that term. Cults use that to keep their members obedient

I sure as heck wouldn't want to be in a business environment with anyone I can't trust.
They can't motivate us because we know they're full of it and this house of cards ( and therefore they) is going to collapse. While they keep looking in the rear view mirror, better led competitors are passing SF by. Being number 2 or 3 won't be so bad - it's coming.
