Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

Any insights or speculation regarding the end of the fiscal year?

Sell off more customers to dealers? Cease operations in less profitable areas? Layoffs? Or will we see something positive for a change? What is the wisdom of the crowd? Managers have been holed up in meetings quite often lately.

They just did another round of lay offs in Tempe and per some other departments nationally were impacted.

Seems like end of fiscal year was always a time of dread at Ricoh USA but I'm glad I got out of there. Word of advice for anyone that's frustrated with the company's antics and/or getting let go, Your loyalty means NOTHING! It's not worth stressing over. Move on while you have the time.

I always expect the worst with this company. My guess would be selling off to dealers more rapidly. Also, I would expect more early retirements.
