Does anyone have information about the apparel meeting next week?

The apparel meeting was cancelled.
this is sounding familiar. Ask those with the most seniority if such a meeting has been called before. I learned something was up when I heard from a coworker of 15 years at my place that the company has NEVER had a meeting like the one we had where they announced closing up. They said we were going to be paid for 8 hours even though the meeting was going to be about two hours.
