Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

MARVINFAIL!

Remember the Big Deal about the Blue Knives switched over Feb 14?

Our store? The day came and went, No Blue Knives, Nobody was put in charge, couldn't find the knives, Store Manager was MAI as usual, Another MARVINFAIL.

Next Day? Threats and write-ups,

Lowes: Business as Usual.

1 New knives are a joke. They retract when they hit tape cutting boxes open.
2 Supervisors are walking around with hunting knives clipped to their belts, and they use them for boxes, etc.

I can’t say Marvin is responsible. I can say Marvin has NO regard for hourly employees!!!

The blades are pretty easy to find and order through spend management. Again this is a simple change that isn’t that big of a deal or complicated

Yes, it’s Marvin’s fault you as a store couldn’t collectively do something as simple as switch out the knives. Poor local leadership and even worse associates who can’t even properly use MIA.

Have to wonder how much time and money company wide was spent on this latest stupid change. The new box cutters also require a non-standard blade which no doubt will be harder if not impossible to find. Company apparently couldn't afford to order inventory in the 4th quarter but will do this.

How is the failure of your store to do something simple as switch out knives Marvins fault? Sounds like poor local leadership.
