To bad union brothers don't stand for one another any longer. We should have went on strike when this all started

Our shop had 33 years and they laid us all off !

It never occurred to me but your right, the last supper if you will,maybe this is a way of trying to appease the remaining forces
We get severance meals at Bellevue all the time. One just before every layoff. Last suppers, furlough meals, whatever you want to call them. It’s a real moral booster....
Here at scx we're over 250 days and more than likely won't see 1 yr injury free. So eat the soup/ice cream because at least you all will get some kind of severance meal.

That's quite an accomplishment for statistically the most unsafe shop on the system for years.
But all kidding aside, safety doesn't matter any longer! They don't care.
We hit 2 years in November and we didn't get anything. Not even a thanks or good job. We were told our supervisors are to busy.
