Why change to a 1-5 scale if you aren’t going to give anyone a 4 or 5? Is it just so no one gets their bonus? The remaining employees are doing the job of many with no reward. Ppl that go above and beyond get a 3 along with the person that just does the minimum & flies under the radar. So you’re telling me to stop k–ling myself and trying to do everything I can do to help Chk.

And for those that say we shouldn’t get a bonus at all, believe me the amount paid out to Individual Contributors is minimal compared to managers (especially if those IC’s are not Geologists or Engineers.) If Directors, VPs, EVPs & CEO received no bonus, then that would actually impact G&A. We already aren’t receiving merit increases. How about you take the sting out of bonus amounts by at least volunteering to give up yours? You all make ridiculous salaries anyways.

Everyone that works gets average so they can be laid off with no issues. No raises anyway so don’t get upset with an average appraisal. When you aren’t paid market value of your job, you leave.

⬇️ Oh my goodness. I hadn’t thought of it that way. “Our CEO makes as much as the Budget for one of our assets.” That does make me sick. As we're all k–ling ourselves to make improvements and compete for any bit of $ we can get. We are being starved out like you said. I’m not going to stick it out any longer. Enough is enough.

The workers left are being starved out when the CEO makes as much as your whole play has for a budget there might be a problem! I really lose sleep just thinking about it....

I feel your pain but you have to know by now that CHK is not the same company it was even 5 years ago. The leaders that cared and would actually take care of us have left because they saw it coming. If you are still here fighting for the company you will not win.

They’re right. Bonuses for the ppl doing the work won’t hurt us financially. It’s the ridiculous ones leadership gets that add up. We have more and more non managers leaving each day from areas that are already so spread thin - I’m talking B15.

Some of us have stayed to fight because we wanted to help turn this company around and thought we’d be rewarded for our loyalty and sacrifice. Nope. It isn’t happening friends. Not at all. Instead of treating us well, they continue to dump on us and find reasons to cut us down so they don’t have to give us $$.

The bonuses are not a significant digit in our financial problems. But an employee mass exodus is. The talent is the only thing of value here, the business is trashed.

News flash; when a company is knocking on the door of a BK, bonuses don’t really matter...it will most likely be the last bonus for CHK employees anyway.
