Why change to a 1-5 scale if you aren’t going to give anyone a 4 or 5? Is it just so no one gets their bonus? The remaining employees are doing the job of many with no reward. Ppl that go above and beyond get a 3 along with the person that just does the minimum & flies under the radar. So you’re telling me to stop k–ling myself and trying to do everything I can do to help Chk.
And for those that say we shouldn’t get a bonus at all, believe me the amount paid out to Individual Contributors is minimal compared to managers (especially if those IC’s are not Geologists or Engineers.) If Directors, VPs, EVPs & CEO received no bonus, then that would actually impact G&A. We already aren’t receiving merit increases. How about you take the sting out of bonus amounts by at least volunteering to give up yours? You all make ridiculous salaries anyways.
