They scared and prepared us enough to have low expectations about bonus and compensation when they laid off 1,500 people in December. Last Tuesday people were saying they made me feel like “you are lucky to have a job” upon being told 0 bonus and 0 salary increase. or “be thankful you got something” upon being presented meager ones. Today a video from the CEO was released thanking the employees for record earnings in 2019. Yes Mr. Goreman, we get it. We are thankful to have jobs until the axe falls again next quarter.
