GWP CONFIRMED CHANGES
u/dougmcmillion1d
For sake of anonymity I have created a new account. We all know the HOs watch us here.
I have some confirmed changes that will be taking place in Quarter 1 and there are a lot. These changes are exclusive to MY STORE which means exactly that...I dont know how extensive the changes are or are not to other stores except for a few things. For context my store is $80-125 million as a lot of this is based on volume and we already had fresh GWP.
FRESH: Previous structure s—ed a– (my words) Reduction of teams from 3 to 2. Meat/Produce Team Deli/Bakery Team
There will still be same number of TLs, coaches, and ATs as before.
Production TL/AT to deli/bakery Availability TL/AT to meat/produce Serve TL/AT to deli/bakery
These TLs and ATs have a rotating schedule meaning they will have 4-1, 6-3, and 1-10 shifts.
Team associates will still have the same shifts 4-1 and 1-10. Except for behind the counter bakery/deli
Co-Managers:
Cos are eliminated being replaced with a store lead. Designed to be a store manager in training. They are expected to be out of role within 2 years whether its through promotion demotion of leaving the company. Start out at 75,000. Most stores only have 1 more complex stores will have 2 and at divisional discretion.
Compensation: Minimum pay of $12 hourly for the following positions take effect; Fresh, cap team, and frontend.
Above is store specific but I imagine most stores will be doing this.
ATs will no longer get a $2 differential Intead it's a 10% pay bump. Those already in AT role gets the $2 differential added to their base pay.
FRONT END: CSM completely eliminated. Additional TLs and ATs for the front end. A lot of this is already known and they dont appear to be changing much except adding the stoking of dpt 82 to the checkout team. There will be a morning TL an evening TL and a services TL. Unknown number of ATs of course varies by store.
FOOD/CONSUMABLES/REPLENSHMENT: ASM for above areas are eliminated. One coach for food and consumables and one for Replenoshment (cap teams)
CAP supervisor eliminated replaces with replenishment TLs.
Food/consumables DM will still exist for now and report to the coach.
I'm sure there is much more to come with this but for now that's the only changes that I see.
APPAREL: Apparel is testing out a cap team. Somebody posted about this earlier in the week but I have a few more details.
Apparel sales associates are eliminated. Must move to either of the cap teams which are 4-1 and 2-11. DMs will still exist and will work the normal 7-4. Cap team does the processing zoning and stocking of apparel.
OBWs will update January 17th so there will be more details then. It seems like most of these changes will be complete by week 5 which I believe is the first week of march.
