Level Load

Is everybody’s boss doing this.? They keep slow employees but just assign existing and new claims to the faster workers so their numbers look good? Very frustrating.

The "slower" handlers will get the same exact raise and ranking as the speedier CH...because the "slower" handler always looks good by the end of week thanks to a fellow co-worker!

So again like I said do as little as possible, almost keep up with your load because you will never ever be recognized and adequately compensated for doing the "more" for your slower co-worker.

Every time I shoot my wad on Tipsturds face I call it a "level load".

Ha, half of the company. How generous.

You will also be told that every customer deserves the same remarkable experience, as if it's your personal problem that half the company is incompetent.

It's called "load leveling" and the TMs have been doing this for several years, even before EOM. It's so frustrating when you have you're own inventory, you keep on top of it (and maybe just a wee bit ahead), and your mgt directs you to do the slower CSs' work. The "slower" handlers are not dealt with because by Friday, their #s are within SLOs due to the speedier CHs' assistance. The TMs don't want their team to be in the red on SLOs at the end of the week, so they scramble to have other CHs on their team to pick up the slack.

Here's the thing. In the history of work, there's never been a company where that wasn't happening.

Geez wouldn’t you want the previous poster on your team! Thank goodness my teammates all try to pull their own load. After reading the previous post I appreciate them more than I realize. Not everyone is created with the same level of talent-same as athletes. If a person’s motto is do as little as possible I feel bad for their family and friends if there are any.....

My motto is do a little as possible, because the more you do the more they want!

Also it doesn't matter how much you do or how hard you work....your raise is going to be the same as the person that slacks their way through the day. You all know that's the truth. Performance ratings at State Farm are very subjective!

Keep track and show your boss at the end. Better rating, better raise, better bonus.

Yeah, the better, faster, high-performers get rewarded with more work framed as "helping the team" and "having the capacity" for more claims. Your boss doesn't care if you work a certain way that keeps yourself from drowning in all that sh– and burning out. You aren't a human being, you're just a "resource". They see your numbers and think "those look too much better than most, so let's give them more to handle". You'll be called not a team player if you don't think that's fair, so maybe be more like the rest of the team and do whatever they do like letting most of your phone calls go unanswered to voicemail, let your customers talk to someone else about whatever you should be on top of already, let the mail pile up for weeks, make some dumb mistakes...maybe then some other s—er can do your work too for once and you'll be a true team player.
