Pepsico Declares War On Diabetic Employees

You can add Diabetics to Pepsico'sh– List. Got a letter from Express Scripts stating that effective January 1, 2020, Pepsico is ending the great benefit diabetics have had for years, sending CoPays through the roof. Diabetics will go from zero Copays on diabetic medications and supplies to Copays on EVERY supply and medication, ranging from $20-$240 on some pills to $75-$480 on Injectibles. My annual costs just exploded from 1 couple hundred a year to well over $3000. This is just another example of why Pepsico targets older employees. In this case, because they announced this after Open Enrollment was closed, Diabetic employees are totally screwed over with nowhere to turn. Typical Pepsico Greed. They have no soul!

Not older people are diabetic and it’s not just PepsiCo cutting medications. It’s all companies that offer an insurance. PEPwill cover some costs but if you want to complain, do it with insurance companies and pharmacy who are increasing costs

Go find an employer who will cover all of your expenses you cry baby.

Here you go, again, crying over spilt Mountain Dew. Mix in a salad and fresh Life Wtr and your illness will get better in a hurry.

Boohoo

How ironic ... they sell the c-ap that causes diabetes and then have the nerve to refuse to properly cover the consequences ...

Are you part of Livongo? If not, I highly recommend this benefit we are offered.

I assure you it's true. You may want to confirm this through Express-Scripts before you get a huge surprise when you order your first Diabetic Medications and Supplies in 2020. I sent a very pointed letter to Pepsico regarding this and they didn't even have the stones to reply......No surprise there. I can smell a class action lawsuit resulting from this discriminatory BS.

I don’t think this is true. I haven’t received any such letter.

Children are diabetic too. That is horrible that they did that considering the products they produce.
