Thread regarding Frontier Communications Corp. layoffs

JEREMY LAKOSH IS DREAMING😨

https://seekingalpha.com/article/4312818-why-i-sold-and-bought-frontier-communications-distressed-debt

What Jeremy fails to understand is that Frontiers customer base is shrinking at a rapid rate. With continued network outages and now more people dumping home Video/Data there is no end in site. Yes every company has Network issues from time to time, but during a time of 5G deployment it is crucial to keep your Network Clean and Open. Jeremy remains optimistic, but overall all ISP’s are seeing the shrink affect of 5G deployment.

Don't overstate the presently marginal deployment of 5G with anything that has to do with the financial plight of Frontier. They are not related and are not indicative of what has happened to Frontier.

Having problems is an understatement. This is one of the most financially strapped companies in existence. Not to mention consistently being ranked as one of the worst places to work at.

Thanks for commenting. There is no doubt the company is having problems, but to the point of the comment made above, I am taking a short-term investment in Frontier and not advocating that the company is sustainable long-term. I used to own the company's 2025 bonds and always called them speculative at best.

Looking on Seeking Alpha it appears Jeremy's wager is that FTR lasts 18 more months. It is irrelevant to him what happens to FTR after July 2021. Are you saying that you do not believe FTR will last 18 more months without an in-court restructuring (the only way Jeremy loses considering his current basis looks to be around 50% of face)?

Just wait till Starlink goes online and at capacity. That will be the final nail in the coffin for FTRs rural broadband.
