Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Don't expect me to feel sorry for any of them!

They've ruined so many lives and nearly destroyed this company and now I'm supposed to feel sorry for them? Not happening!

This was the best move that could have been done to start affecting some actual change here.

I think we might be on the right track to recovery finally!

Correct...they need to go down another level in IT - especially the collaboration side of the house; Where a migration project - a year behind schedule and the wasting of money paying an incompetent consultant (that should have been fired a year ago - rumors of kickbacks etc ) and then promoting the overall manager of the project to director - you fail then get promoted

BBB is a terrible place to work. Run by managers who age discrimination on a regular! Worked there 10 years during which time I was discriminated against and lied to and used!

I agree. I don’t feel bad but I can’t say anyone does. They were overpaid and are so disconnected from the stores. If they new how hard it IS to run a store, especially if you are not a high volume or key test store. We don’t get the technology, tools or resources or PRODUCTS to make our customers happy, work efficiently and effectively and keep the associates engaged and not overworked.
