@12yIFeU3-4nau ya that is what their minimum wage shows, but I don't think I seen anyone make the federal minimum wage. If you think $3.75 an hour is impressive well you probably be impress that some make $20 and more above the federal minimum wage (they work in the federal sector). Along that they get holiday pay, pension, 401k, health insurance, sick days compared vs Walmart.
I am on my way out from Walmart I am going to start at $21.85 if I pass the 3 month academy my pay will probably increase to $35 an hour. I am going to make more than double than what Walmart pays me. I am going to miss my co workers at Walmart, I just hate how disgusting a multi billionaire company treats some loyal employees. To add not only is the problem to me what they pay is how they work you very rushed very pushed. They keep cutting benefits left and right. If you can get out of Walmart do it you can get a better job with better benefits than Walmart.
This is where I laugh. Walmart is the epitome of capitalism going to whatever lengths necessary to grow the bottom line and make money. That is one of the principle American ideas. To call the largest employer in the nation unamerican for chasing the dollar as far as it will go is laughable.
Yeah, they are the largest employer in America and pay all American employees at least $3.75 more per hour than the federal minimum wage. I make $5.09 more per hour than the federal minimum wage working at Walmart. All while the White House and congress refuse to raise the federal minimum wage.
