Thread regarding Xerox Corp. layoffs

Merry Christmas, Happy holidays

Spend these next few weeks with family and friends. Don't let the uncertainty stress you out and ruin the holidays.

There is very little chance of any major change happening this year, or even in the first quarter of 2020. I can't imagine any major actions while the potential merge is being considered.

If you are off this time of year, it can't hurt to polish the resume and maybe even put out some feelers. The economy is generally good, there are many jobs in many segments, so there's little reason to jump ship now if you are happy with your job and benefit package.

I am actively seeking other opportunities - meeting with colleagues and partners in the greater Palo and San Jose regions. I recognize my history of claiming success prior to public awareness of my failures. Since I already claimed “apotheosis of a remarkable career“ (https://www.metisstrategy.com/naresh-shanker-chief-information-officer-of-hp-inc/ )
I am challenged to find a new opportunity given XRX stock movement is based fully on EPS manipulation due to layoffs. Silicon Valley seems to see this, even though Wall Street is still catching up. Does anyone here have advice?

This is the type of message that management sends when they are freaking out about the giant surge in resignations.
