What innovation? Cut the labs and outsource the tech jobs. Highly paid buffoons

Tech is getting promotions and bonus. Does this seem fair?

Supporting link, that the 737 MAX will k–l Boeing (and take Puget Sound with it)

All right, that rumor is not true. But Corp Center has ~100 job openings listed for Technology in Seattle atm.

Now we are waiting to see the holiday comps. If they are bad, would expect to see a hiring freeze, while plans for some sort of organizational re-org churn in the background.

Where is the fat? Sure looks like lots of people for what could be very few seats. Will the corporate staff outlast the devs from the start-ups and acquisitions? Will $JWN write-down the BevyUp and MessageYes acquisitions like they did the Trunk Club?

Will we learn more about the larger stake Nordstrom has in the Central Park Tower and its unwanted condos?

If we're stuck waiting for Q4 earnings, that's not until the first week of March. Meh.
