Left zerox last year after almost 3 decades for a new opportunity. Just had our Christmas party last Saturday night. It was open to the entire family, nice sitdown dinner, open bar, band and DJ, and even a visit from Santa for the kids. What a blast.
And to top it off, today we got our christmas bonus. I guess the moral of this story is there are companies out there who value their employees. MERRY CHRISTMAS all.

iufd, it sounds more like the op is trying to give hope to those left behind than to gloat. Many of us have found jobs we are happy with & wish the same for those who would like to leave or are invited to leave.
The author is encouraging everyone to leave that hellhole. He/she is Enjoying a great company and all it has to offer (including dignity and respect).
Last time I looked this site is about layoffs and not gloating - leave that for Facebook. Of course there are better / worse companies out there.
