For months all this site has posted was fear mongering about mass cuts. Well here we are at year end and it appears IT is still intact and the business has avoided the knife. So what happened ?????

I can tell you with 100% certainty that half of the FTE's on team including myself were let go earlier this year. I don't expect it to stop any time soon. Best of luck to all. IMHO Life is better on the other side.
You are either work in a cave, blind or ignorant. There have been multiple teams significantly cut or totally eliminated in the US. Let’s see how support works with the “Hub”.
There were plenty IT cuts in Chicago this month and some in Plano
They left a few people for year end and Jan deliverables $ some were told the role is going to India
I'm sure these will be gone in Q1

Actually, they have already started. I was told in October that March 21st will be my last day. There were also others, but I don't know how many. The 2nd wave were told that Dec 27 will be there departure day. Others will go in round 3 in Feb. So everyone else just has to wait it out.
I hear Frbruary too but am hoping it is in the form of voluntary buyouts. some of us are ready to go but the insurance costs are ridiculous to bridge the gap to Medicare.
Yep February each year. Haven’t heard a peep. Usually you get some indication that there are changes coming to the field. I know Tech is chewing it, but eerily silent in field sales. Perhaps some the tech implementations are leading to big changes, but tough to tell.
Everyone is two months early. The cuts happen in February. 🤪
