- Make it easy to do business with – post how you can be reached on network (i.e. your phone and/or mail on FB, LinkedIn…)
- Spend some money to make money, invest in yourself and the search.
- Start a blog about job opportunities in the industry you want to be in
- Say no to everyone and everything that won't help you get a job
Apply for unemployment benefits. You paid for this benefit and you are entitled to it.
Keep only work stuff at your desk. When it happens, just hand in your badge and laptop and start your new life.
- Get all of your stuff out of your locker if you have one.
- Get everything ready in a 'Go' bag.
- Make sure you have everyone on linkedin and text/whatever.
- Bring your phone and any keys/valuables to the meeting.
