Due to the amount of hours a lot of people leads are putting in, there has been a lot of rumors circulating that they will go salaried. Any other rumblings either way with this rumor?

People leads will not go salaried. Unless they completely redo the role, again, expect the position to be depleted. They already hate life and can’t handle it, so ASM’s have to pick up their slack
As someone who made the job profiles i can confirm thwy are hourly
I know in our store some of the department managers work more the assistant. Our call in every other day
I heard the People Leads are going to go salary, too........ PLUS the People Leads will be running the store just like any other Asst. Mgr. does. People Leads will have to open/close the store. The day that happens I believe many People Leads will step down. The job is literally too much to do for 1 person.
Only a fool would take this stressful job salaried-unless it's at the came level as Coach or Co Manager pay. Team Leads have been working nonstop here since Halloween. MAYBE one day off per pay period. This should be proof enough that these were bad ideas and not thought through.
California and Arizona are such states where anything over 8hrs a day is overtime. I'm sure their current supervisors get to leave on time unlike in other states with no such law.
Not all states can negate overtime by having them cut it at the end of the week...
No, they'll just expect you to build Rome in an 8hr shift. They'll have you stay late saying it'll be overtime, and then have you cut it at the end of the week.
I believe they will be salaried because it’s cheaper for them. And they will be getting rid of assistance which will save them money so they can live better.
No, they will cut hours.
