EVs are all but a choice, people like choices.
Automotive companies are no different than an appliance company that sells a TV or dishwashers.
My appliance of choice isn't an EV, for me they are boring they have a sterile dentist office vibe, I'll stick with a my ICE cars and Jeep.
For the folks that want an iPhone that has wheels, have at it lol.

Tesla when I benchmarked it at GM, it was boring.
There is no value added to an electric vehicle, none. It's a choice and that's that.
Will they get better, maybe but I wasn't excited about it.
You've obviously never driven a real electric car :) - (Volt/Bolt don't count)
