I'm not interested in EVs at all it's a complete scam.

electric car benefits are environmentalist moralists will approve of you and your moral green behavior. if you buy a used volt and charge it at work you can commute a certain reasonable distance for free and save on gas money. if you buy a new volt the gas money saved doesn't pay for the huge markup for the batteries and motors and moral approval that is part of the markup when you buy an electric car.
