No camp is safe!! Seems like Halliburton is slowly getting away from the service side and focusing more on technology. Rumors of them already leasing equipment to other companies. When does the non-compete end with Petrostar? If any camp isnt above the line greatly, you are on the list. Either big profit or no profit. Start looking and dont get caught off guard by thinking you are safe!!

And the known fact that brand new rolling equipment “cranes for example” are cut up for sc-ap. They could be used in industries other than the oil field
That is wrong not only for Halliburton but any company that does it.
Cutting up high dollar equipment doesn’t fit well while employees are being laid off.
After first of year Duncan become Halliburton dmc leasing company.
Welcome to Halliburton Manufacturing and Leasing Company, L.L.C.!
It appears the company does spend more funding on making superior equipment in order to out perform the competition. But without experienced employees, they lose something you can’t build in the factory, or buy at a job fair. The instability of how Halliburton operates, sends a message of how unstable employment that they offer. To personally see the waste when times are good, and even when they’re bad, is appalling to anyone with common sense . If you add that to “no job security “, it’s a wonder that people will work for them. I think stability, security, would outweigh wages and overtime, but that is not the true ways of the oil patch.
