Is Gordon Gecko handling this deal?
They will probably submit a plan stating that they will close a multi-billion deal this year and stock price will jump considerably when the deal is announced.
Glad to see everyone witnessing the precise outworking of my (multiple) predictions on this board earlier this year:
- continued executive "leadership" malfeasance
- CHK free fall from $3+ range
- CHK to 'break the buck' by year's end
- news of imminent CHK de-listing
- probable BK 'reorg'

The only thing that can save CHK is the price of O & G to go up dramatically
But you will only own a tenth of the shares you previously owned. Value is the same and then start going down from there. There is no gain here, just a shuffle
On the bright side, your stock price is about to skyrocket. You know, on account of the multiple reverse splits about to occur.
