Think the best advice I can give to anyone, including the OP is: if you feel this (or any other) site has little value to you just move on, the less frustrated you feel the better for your health.
I’ve stumbled upon this site about two years ago, been checking it from time to time ever since, works for me just fine.
I use it as a gauge, not a source of absolute truth. It’s an anon forum, so some whining and exaggerating is kinda normal to expect. It can be annoying to some people, but I just skip through those responses while reading.
On the other hand, you can almost always get a quick response to your questions, I find that very useful. On top of that, you always know when it’s time to buckle up and expect something big to happen, as you can clearly see the buzz by the increased number of views and replies on threads.
Like now, I think that people made more replies in a last couple of days then in a last two months.
