Our office is a joke now we have paid off everyone in Aberdeen.
Who we have left is made up from graduates, trainees and a few big time cxxk s—ers who kept there jobs by back stabbing everyone and everything.

50% of the office are looking for other jobs with the other half riding it out as been here so long and no one would employ them anyway.

We are the laughing stock of the north sea these days

Away from family all the time stuck with a heap of brainless people who are so thick spend more time trying to avoid work than getting on with it.
Sxxt industry 10 years ago when it was booming now just a joke.

Ive been riding this oilfield pony for 30 years. Work when you can. Enjoy the time off when you cant. Best part of the oilpatch is when it shuts down. Why fight it?

With a avg of 5 rigs a week shutting down and opec having to cut and cut production to even keep oil prices to 60 dollars which is obviously no where near high enough it's only going to keep going the same way.
The industry is over.

It has been over 5 years now since this all started. Pretty soon there will be no one left. Well maybe only HR. Let them go offshore and run jobs. Good luck with that.
