Nice professionally produced video announcement that could have been handled in an note that tells us we need to cut expenses. Email could have said “Heads gonna roll....more details to come”.

“Transforming to Win” depends on your point of view or ultimate disposition once this reorg is over.

Gotta love the brown nosing on Workplace ...that's not going to save you from Lady Geagea's wrath
Cutting expenses being exemplified (video vs email)
Is the ‘A’ in ABU aberdeen or Azerbaijan?
God knows they need to swing the axe in ABU
@ 2tbx. Agreed. When is the last time you’ve heard the Tenets of Operation mentioned?

Everyone should hope that Wirth does not become another cost cutting bean counter accountant-type. A good start would be to eliminate 10-15% of all team leads, supervisors and middle managers. Those people are completely worthless, being obsessed with meetings, spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations for endless follow-up meetings.
This is blue collar oilfield all day every day not for scholars
Many of you will be gone by Q2. Consolidation and streamlining (layoffs) in upstream will be a hard reality for many arrogant Chevroids. That is the oil business.

You should watch the video again and pay closer attention if that is all you gleaned from it the first time.
Meanwhile, I bet you would have also complained if this was just an email saying that this type of news, while fluff, should have at least been a video.
I like your sense of justice @pkr. Unfortunately at Chevron, your so-called justice system is managed by the powerful unequals who will see you quickly dispatched if you simply utter a word they don’t like.
Whether you go with Hammurabi’s codes, Justinian’s Corpus Jurus Civilis or Talmudic law, who gets the chop and who stays will be determined by Aristotle’s approach - justice will be served by treating equals equally and unequals unequallly, in proportion to their inequality.
