An earlier post discussed a lay-off occurring the first week of December. Any new info to share? According to our “training” we are suppose to say I am an employee of PepsiCo and these are my opinions and not that of PepsiCo. So, it’s my opinion only and not that of PepsiCo that an earlier post stated layoffs the first week of December.

Nobody is gong anywhere before year end. Shows how much faith there is in offshore. What a comedy act.

Rooms booked to meet 1:1 as a a follow up with HR and previously announced layoffs people (they were notified in Oct.)
Saw some conference rooms on 8th floor Chicago Plaza blocked off this week....not sure if that means anything.
The good news is no one is talking about a lay-off. I know people will be impacted going forward but I’d sure hate it if it were to happen just after people did their Christmas shopping and celebrated Thanksgiving.
In response to the training question, It was the online security training. Everyone is required to take it annually.

So if the money is already allocated for the 2.4 billion restructuring and you need to cut costs..... Isn't cutting heads the easiest way to do that?
