"Fortunate" matching has lasted this long.....never be the same !!!
Sounds about right. Remember they always took carry over vacation days away. It only makes sense they start adding in disclaimers to 401K matching. Hopefully they would leave severance alone.
They cant take your 401K, its yours. They will eliminate the matching they provide. Cost savings.
ship is sinking. All hands beware.
Sungard Availability Services LP will continue making a matching contribution under the Sungard Availability Services U.S. Savings Plan (the “Plan”) equal to 100% of the amount of your pre-tax/Roth contributions up to 4% of your compensation, until further notice. However, this contribution will not be considered a safe harbor matching contribution, meaning Sungard Availability Services LP reserves the right to modify the amount of the matching contribution at any time in the future, commencing in 2020. Previously, you received a notice describing the availability of a safe harbor matching contribution. You will not lose your rights to any safe harbor matching contributions that you earned prior to January 1st, 2020.
As always, you may change your payroll deferral elections under the Plan at any time.
