Organized chaos. Nobody feels safe, whether it’s in tech support areas or business areas. Get to work each day with head down and just hope HR doesn’t ping you for your disappearing act of the mysterious lay-off. The company has created the toxic environment...rumor has it more layoffs coming December 16th...Happy Holidays

Mid January rumored to be a massive layoff. Way to go Blue Cross. Received billions in tax savings and greed is setting in now. The IT was moved to Mumbai and is horrendous. You know if you've ever dealt with them. This company is going down.

Awesome - so why didn't they change out the leadership of the Service Desk? You know the ones that failed for years... oh wait was I not supposed to say that?

Do you know who is suffering? CareFirst! The support and expertise around how the service desk and desktop support team add value is way behind industry expectation. CareFirst is at least a decade behind in IT. Plenty of people, just missing the right skills and mentalities.

So how many people were impacted? I haven’t seen anything in the news.

It's a shame. Bringing in donuts to a meeting in which your own termination notice was announced is not cool. There is a better way to treat employees. Families and lives are impacted by these changes. It is inevitable that the CareFirst customers will suffer in the long run.

So long, most ethical company.
