Anyone hearing of any job cuts happening soon? Hearing rumblings that district merchants and other asset protection jobs are getting cut.

Hearing a lot of regions and districts are merging next year. Anyone else hear anything?
Any changes heard about visual staff?
As for the question about management jobs on hold and not being replaced....
I’m assuming they are not going away and being held to place managers in Feb when locations close....or to have something to put DMs into when those jobs are eliminated.
My location currently has 3 exec jobs on hold.

On the portal in project center...neighbor stores tab. It shows the restructure and management assignments and responsibilities. This was for stores who went neighborhood in Spring and Fall 2019

What I want to know more about is the restructuring of the management staff.
If an SM quits and the job remains on hold... for months... do you think this is an indicator of the job not being replaced? Like , for example.. what if enough SM's quit so that the staff has cut itself down to the desired level......
Do all stores that aren't growth stores become the neighborhood stores with this severely truncated staffing, or just stores designated as neighborhood stores?
What will happen to the jewelry complex structure? Supervisor, Clerical and Captain?? Are those going to change too?
where did you see this on the portal? what should i search, neighborhood stores?
again rumors are out there that MTM position are going to be cut, so maybe this will be the year. and if this does happen, it will be horrible to be a SM in this type of structure.
NeighborHood store if your not a growth store. The model is as follows:
1 SM oversees all destination business (jewelry beauty shoes furniture)
1 SM oversees all apparel and home and oversee’s pricing and signing
2 leads=taking a guess that each SM gets a lead they oversee who helps support.
1 AST supervisor now oversees AYS and fulfillment teams
And that’s all, no sales floor supervisors in these locations.
OAPM and MTM are not shown on the store leadership “tree branch” Not sure what that means

@12i5VSwB-fck Are you saying the "entire" support team will be combined with sales team or only the merchandising lead/associates the ones whput out the clothing)??
What regions and districts are you hearing being eliminated?
Hopefully all DM's arent as dim witted as ours. She did come in Saturday "to help". It was very busy and everything was a mess. She told me to call the recovery team...well she didnt know that it was us...sad that management is so out of touch.
The nature of my source is that it happened in front of me; talked to displaced DMs.

*at least 6 districts eliminated
*1 possibly 2 regions eliminated
- district merchants eliminated
- store staffing cuts
- store merchandising and sales teams integrated into 1
