Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Black blobs

Does your store have the black blobs if Black Friday sale items in aisles all over the store?

We draped sale items with garbage bags and then shrink wrapped them. Customers have been ripping off the plastic to reveal what’s underneath.

BTW Home Depot is doing exactly the same thing; Marvin has no original ideas.

Another waste had product on floor for days per instructions before we were made to black wrap them and then took off 2 hours before closing on Wednesday per asm

Unless this plastic is biodegradable, I say shame on Lowe’s for this waste going into landfills.

Yes we have it and the store Manager of the Home Depot down the road was in to take pictures yesterday. Honestly, it was a lot easier to set early then waiting until tonight and coming in a 3am Friday. Myself and the rest of the MST Team pretty much dropped / set everything, wrapped it and organized all signage in our store and no truck tonight for the first time in my 8 years. I disagree with every change and loss of positions that has occurred but this worked out for us.

Hate to break it to you but it is was Marvin who started that at Home Depot. So it actually is his idea. Sorry.
