This was one of the reasons as to why I took a job here. What else do you think they will cut?

I haven't worked for lowes in a year and half. Had to get a washer and yes even though I was laid off I bought it at Lowe's. 12 months no interest and I already had the card. So I order it up and go up front and the price drops. I pay for it and I guess my employee discount card still active. Love how stupid they are.
What a shame ! Even the vendors no longer value Lowe's employees any more.
I'll bet one of the next shoes to drop will be treating the employee discount like they did the military discount.
They never offered anything I needed or wanted. Dyson vacuum? Yeah it’s nice and all but for the price I can pay my rent.
They gave the same BS as when they took away commissions... They said not many people took advantage so they aren't doing any of them this year.
Oh you make commission? Your paychecks must be so... Variable. Let me smooth them out for you, it will provide consistency. Yeah, consistency. Pat no attention to the Lowe's man behind the curtain pocketing the spiffs you used to get.
