I wouldn't worry too much about those non-competes. Companies typically only try to enforce those for high level employees and aren't very successful doing it even then. And it's not like Dean Foods is in a position to devote time or money to trying to enforce them now.

Advice to everyone is to watch your hours and pay closely. If you're shorted, try and get it fixed as soon as possible. If you are given any trouble, file a wage claim with your state (google state name, unemployment- wage claims almost always handled by same state departments that handle unemployment and they make filing a claim easy.)

All the corporate people I know are trying to find other jobs in Dallas, but it's tough with non-competes and the pay is pretty solid although very shaky.

I don't know about you guys but I'm on hourly and what they did was they paid us are 40 twice and then they said you're not going to get paid next week in the overtime that you occur during the week that we they pay double will be put on standby. So then we get the week ago check and then we get the second week now that second week they said they were going to combine over time that you made during the week you didn't get paid plus the overtime you made during the double paycheck week. The me and everybody else in the area as far as I know of we got paid one check on Tuesday what's included all the overtime Pryor remember to double-check week overtime and the week of no check that overtime. Did at the end of the week we got paid 40 hours
As far as going forward we're still getting the same story that everything's okay the checks are going to be normal

You people have to take charge! Find another job, it's heavy in the job market right now! What are you waiting for? If you get a severance package? I would be really surprised, it's probably not going to happen! Once they go into chapter 7, if they do, it's definitely not going to happen! And for sure if they have ripped you off call the labor board! Gezz people take care of self first! Can you not read the writing on the wall...

Call your state labor departments before agreeing to pay back anything. What they did was most likely illegal in most states. If you don't ask, you don't get. It won't hurt to make the call.

I'm salary and get paid bi-monthly. Instead of being paid on the 15th, I got paid on the 8th. I didn't get paid on the 15th as well. So no, I didn't get paid anything extra. Were there people who did?
