- a Store Manager who always leaves 15 - 45 minutes early every time they are scheduled?
Does Corporate even keep track of whether or not salaried employees are working the hours that they get paid for?

This stores Ex sales manager barely worked 35 hours a week at $ 77,000 a year because she was a.k.a. friend of someone in corporate talk about an easy job she //////couldn’t sell heat to an Eskimo to save her life
Who cares how many hours they work? That's not the most important criterion. Mine sends out emails about bits and bobs and year over year growth and scolding us for poor service in the aisles while changing and cutting hours. Someone like that, the hours worked isn't that relevant to how good a job they're doing.
I am impressed that all of you have store managers that work more than 30-35 hours a week! The last four that I have worked for barely even show up and never worked more than about 7 hours a day, 5 days a week.
Store managers were not appointed their positions — it’s a choice if they leave their shift early it sets an example that that’s ok — so don’t complain when all want too
Thank you all for your kind, gentle and fully informative answers.

Let's be real. I'm not an apologist but most Store Managers easily work 60 hours a week or more. They are tapped into their work at home via email, cell, etc. While you get to clock out and leave they NEVER get the opportunity to shut it down. If they want to leave a little early then being a salaried manager gives them the right. You sound like a whiny punk ... or in other words a hater. If you were to ever (but you wont) get your own store you'd have afforded yourself the same right.
Call ethics point and even though they'll appease you that they will take it seriously you'll be laughed at and its going nowhere.
Doubtful that Lowe’s would do anything; they won’t even do anything about the appliances specialist that leaves early and has her “friend” clock her out at the designated time.
Store managers are salary so it doesn't really matter that much
They are not hourly employees, they don't get paid by the hour and for all you know they could be working 60-70 hours a week.
