As layoffs will be happening in 2020 now, will the affected people get the bonus for 2019? They should as they have worked the whole year

When my wife was let go in 2015, she got severance and bonus. When I hired in 2011, I received Pro-Rated Bonus. I left voluntarily last year in June. I am unsure if they will pay out my variable comp. I survived 3 major riffs. Cummins looks great on resumes guys, don't be afraid to put yourselves out there. Despite the awards, Cummins Ethics and Morals are far apart.
Well if they were to cut bonuses instead of us disposable employees, how would Tom and his buddies get their cush multi million dollar yearly bonuses? Come on now how do you expect them to live without that.
Where on cummins connect?? I checked with my line HR and they told me that they cant disclose this information to employees
The severance policy is on Connect. Those that get severance get paid variable compensation.
Yes, you will get it. I got mine after I was let go in Nov 2015. I appreciated it, but this is yet another example of poor financial management and leadership at Cummins. Instead of paying out these huge bonuses to thousands of people, suspend bonuses and 401k matches and keep your people employed!!! If it is your excuse to get rid of dead weight and poor performers, that is a lie too, because a large number of high performers are let go in lieu of lower paid , lower performers. And, as always, wait a few months then a mass hiring event will happen. Poor poor management at this company.
Laid off and other separated Employees will get the bonus that will be paid out on 3/15/2020. Stop posting incorrect information. If you don't believe me call someone in HR and ask,
Last guy is right you have to be employed to get the profit sharing payout. I hear it’s going to be around .8-1.0 this year.
If you worked all of 2019 you will get your full profit sharing... if you worked part of 2019 your profit sharing will be prorated accordingly... we all worked hard to earn it
You need to work the entire past year to receive a bonus from prior year earnings. You get it even after you leave.
No, you have to be working at the time the bonus is recieved to get it. I agree, you should get it, but that's not the way they do things. It's all about the money.
