I know Macy's usually publishes closing lists at the beginning of January but is there any way I can see it sooner?

I would agree...don’t want to see anyone lose their jobs but we still have more locations than necessary.
i assume exton square in PA will be one, but we will see.
The only way to see it sooner is to be a close confidant of one of the few dozen people that know everything right now. Things have been happening behind the scenes for months and the closing/district & region reduction plan has been well vetted. Those that know are highly incentivized not to divulge what they know prematurely.
I think we are being push into being sold. But they have to get the debts down and cut payroll to make the company apear healthy
Anybody think we would be acquired or taken private. Most people i have spoken too think private but some think we could be bought.
