People are creatures of habit and not open to changing their industry. Halliburton takes advantage of these people. Other think this industry is a calling similar to the coal mining business and family lineage.

Didn't they offer free CDL classes for all the people in operations? If you didn't take it- whose fault is it you have zero marketable skills for the rest of the world when you company kicks your a$$ to the curb? Did you think you could ride the gravy train with biscuit wheels forever?
Thanks. Assuming this is meant for engineers? What about folk in operations?
