Marathon Oil has become the kind of company you go to if you don't care whether your career dies or not. Nobody comes to work here unless they really have to anymore. When did we turn into that from a company everybody hoped to work for?
The times have certainly changed...
I don't know why anyone with more than 5 years' experience would stay at a company like Marathon unless they're on the fast track to management. Even then, when Lee's gone, whoever takes over after him won't protect all of his lackeys.
It's a great place to work if your fellow old Noble friends recruit you. Come in 2 pay grades higher than comparable current employees
