Thread regarding Nationwide (Insurance and Financial Services) layoffs

How will 2020 be in term of layoffs?

I've heard things are not looking so good, I'm hoping somebody here will tell me differently.

Rumor on the street is nationwide is shopping it’s personal lines renewals. Liberty mutual is the primary suitor. Not sure what that would mean for current NW staff if it is true but I can’t imagine it will be good. Guess we should have read between the lines a bit better when the “2020 vision” came out. Too many executives watching out for their MIP with nary a care for those working their butts off trying to keep this sinking ship afloat

Personal Lines claims will be going through what Commercial claims went through in 2019 so get ready. The people that "survived" all the cuts are faced with triple the work load, and rarely get any overtime approved. Leadership dodges any questions about the workload and any overtime requests. At times it feels like working for a start up company. The turnover is constant and people are putting their resignation in on what seems like a monthly basis. They can't fill openings quick enough; when there's 2 to 3 openings it seems like 2 to 3 people leave

Or at least give me more details if something is coming.
