Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

Boeing just fired the buffoon that helped run their brand into the ground....

let's hope the trend continues.

Boeing will be fine. They’ll soon be launching astronauts to space. UP? Not so much.

I read airbus can’t build planes fast enough now. Good job boomers. Keep destroying the companies your daddies and grand daddies built, so you can have three houses instead of two. One of the last great bastions of American manufacturing losing business to overseas competition.....

The id–ts in the c suite took the Boeing headquarters from Seattle to Chicago, even though the Seattle headquarters was always close to design and production, because the engineers always called the shots. The fools didn’t like the engineers getting in the way of finance, so they moved HQ to chicago, where the bean counters could take over without the pillar of Boeing inserting common sense!

Just like finance calls all the shots at UP. Short term gain and long term damage. Both Boeing and UP will take years to rebuild, because the numbers guys took over. Always beware the bean counter that’s given too much power by the board.

Its the same game going on everywhere and it makes Gordon Gekko look like Mr Rodgers.

1 Pay yourself in stock.
2 Have the company buy back the stock to boost share prices, issue debt to do this if necessary.
3 Leave before it KB's.
