Went by to grab my ipod, the signs were covered, and the main gate was locked. Maybe just a holiday thing for the gate but why cover the signs up?

It's easy to see which locations they will layoff people and which locations will not have layoffs - just checkout the careers page. If you don't see any jobs posted in recent weeks in your location, that will give you a clue to what will be happening. Common sense, right?
