Left recently and honestly, why would you stay at a company who cant invest properly in any of their endeavours?

Those of you remaining may want to plan your day to build in time for job search, reading this site, building your resume, making contacts.
I agree 12BsVvF6-fnj. I've stayed because of my vacation time (four weeks) and my salary. For now, at my core, things aren't terrible for a lot of us. And, not everyone takes the same approach to their career. In my case, I have low overhead in terms of my personal expenses and I genuinely enjoy my teammates. I hope to leave in the next year or so, but as of right now, there's no immediate need. No job is perfect, and our core's moral is in the shi++er, but everyone's experience is different. I have no loyalty to my core or to Xerox. Just collecting a paycheck.
For those here a long time, 2 reasons: salary, and vacation. Many of us have done well in years past, so even though salary increases haven't been good for a long time, our base salary is still better than others in Rochester. As far as vacation, if you've been here 25+ years, you get 6 weeks vacation. There are very few companies willing to give you that. Most will likely negotiate for 4, with an outside chance of 5. But I doubt many have been successful at leaving and getting 6 weeks.
